Northern Wildflowers – Magenta Orach Mountain Spinach Seeds (Atriplex hortensis)
Add colour and nutrition to your garden with Magenta Orach (Mountain Spinach), a unique leafy green known for its vibrant magenta-purple leaves and mild, spinach-like flavour. This heirloom vegetable has been grown for centuries and is prized for both its beauty and versatility in the kitchen.
Magenta Orach produces tender leaves that can be harvested young for salads, sautéing, and fresh greens, or allowed to grow larger for cooking like traditional spinach. Its striking colour also makes it a beautiful addition to edible gardens and mixed vegetable beds.
These seeds are offered by Northern Wildflowers, a Canadian family-owned company that focuses on quality seeds sourced from small farms and ethical growers.
