Carnelian Tumbles
Known as a stone of motivation and endurance, leadership and courage, Carnelians have protected and inspired throughout history. A glassy, translucent stone, Carnelian is an orange-colored variety of Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family. The ancient Egyptians called Carnelian "the setting sun." It was used in jewellery for sun disks, and to represent the eye of Horus.
A stabilizing stone, Carnelian stimulates creativity. It promotes positive life choices, dispels apathy and motivates for success.
What Chakra Is Carnelian For?
Carnelians are said to balance and open the sacral chakra, which stores our creative and sexual energies. This energy point is orange, just like the crystal, and attracts power, boosting vitality.
